The Club is seeking suitable fish for mounting/taxidermy to be displayed at the club. The clubrooms have a number of great fish on display already, but there are a number of species that we would love to have on the wall. We don't expect (or plan) to mount all the fish listed in one season, and realise it is something that will take some time.
If you catch a fish generally following the sizes and species below, please contact the Club President, Ian Steele (0276 881 441) soon after you catch the fish - there are specific care instructions that need to be followed, including putting the fish on ice from the time it is landed (noting that this may not be possible for larger species). Please note that the club might not decide to take you up on your offer, depending on the condition, size and details related to the catch (and also that we may have recently agreed to a different fish of the same species). Any species with that have since been sorted are noted below, and no longer seeking that species specifically.

The fish needs to be caught by a Club member in NPSUC waters. The club will cover the cost of the mount to be displayed at the club, and will then be owned by the Club. Generally Taxidermists can make multiple mounts off the same fish, so there is no issue if the angler wishes to pay for and keep their own mount of the fish.
